Where to Put Your Sporter Series

No doorway width issues across the lineup. SP49T height and weight deserve advance planning. SP20 is the most placement-flexible variant.

All six Sporter variants pass standard 36-inch doorways. the widest is 42 inches. Placement is still a permanent decision once anchored. The placement planning guide covers the key variables at this weight range (475 to 840 lbs).

SP49T height consideration: At 72 inches tall, the SP49T requires full standing clearance at the installation location. Low-ceiling garage bays, common in this region at exactly 7 feet, may be tighter than expected with the safe's 72-inch exterior plus any floor surface. Measure ceiling height at the placement location before committing to the SP49T.
Garage placement (most common for this region): Anchoring recommended on all Sporter variants. At 475 to 840 pounds, these safes are real deterrents when unanchored. but an unanchored safe is still moveable with the right equipment.
