This kit mounts one AR-15 Mag Holder (P/N 13007, sold separately) to the outside of a gun safe using eight high-strength 3M adhesive squares. No drilling, no screws, no permanent modification to the safe. The adhesive squares attach to the four corners of the holder, and the holder presses firmly into place on any smooth, clean safe exterior surface.
After mounting, the adhesive needs 72 hours to fully cure before the holder is loaded with magazines. Skipping the cure time risks the bond failing under load.

Installation
- Remove the adhesive film from one side of a square. Position it as close to a corner of the mag holder as possible without covering any existing hole. Apply one square to each of the four corners of the holder.
- Press firmly on each square for 30 seconds to seat the adhesive against the holder surface.
- Wipe the area on the safe where you plan to mount the holder with a dry cloth to remove dust, oils, and debris.
- Remove the film from the remaining exposed adhesive side of all four squares. Press the holder firmly into position on the safe exterior. Apply firm pressure to each corner for 30 seconds.
- Do not load magazines into the holder for 72 hours. The adhesive bond needs the full cure time to reach rated holding strength.
Wait the full 72 hours before loading. Loading magazines before the adhesive has cured puts stress on a bond that has not reached full strength. The kit uses 8 squares. Applying fewer or loading too early is the most likely cause of mount failure.
Common Questions
Does this kit include the mag holder?
No. This kit contains only the 3M adhesive squares needed to mount the holder. The AR-15 Mag Holder itself (P/N 13007) is sold separately for $53.00. You need both products to mount the holder to the outside of your safe.
Will this damage the safe's exterior finish when removed?
High-strength 3M adhesive can damage paint or powder coat when removed. This kit is designed for a permanent installation. If you think you may want to reposition or remove the holder later, placing it on a shelf inside the safe (without the Attachment Kit) is the better option. That approach is also confirmed by multiple buyers to work well long-term.
