A fabric cover does two things a bare safe finish cannot: it hides the safe from anyone who walks by, and it keeps dust off the exterior between uses. Liberty's covers use a breathable, lightweight material that won't trap moisture, so putting a cover on a safe in a climate-controlled space won't create a humidity problem underneath.
Dual zippers run down each side of the front panel so you can open the safe without pulling the cover off entirely. Roll the front panel up and tie it off with the integrated loops, or fold it over the top while you work inside. A protective fabric backing on the zipper tracks keeps the zipper hardware from contacting the safe's finish.

30-35 and 40 Sizes

For mid-size safes in the 30 to 40 gun range. Both sizes share the same 36.5"W x 29"D footprint; the 40-size cover is 6" taller (66"H vs 60"H). Match by your safe's body height.
48, 50, and 64 Sizes

For full-size safes with a wider footprint. The 48 size has a shallower depth (23.5"D vs 29"D): choose it if your safe body is under 24" deep. Choose the 50 if your safe body is 72" or taller. Choose the 64 for the standard full-size 29" depth at 60"H.

Where to Use It
These covers are designed for indoor use. A climate-controlled room is the ideal environment: no humidity buildup under the breathable fabric, and no UV exposure to fade the material.
Garage use works if the safe is out of direct sunlight. Direct and sustained sun exposure will cause fading and discoloration over time. If your garage safe sits near a window or door that gets afternoon sun, consider the cover's placement before using it there.
Not rated for outdoor use. Rain, extended moisture exposure, and temperature extremes outside the intended indoor/garage environment will degrade the cover material. Direct sunlight causes fading; this is not a warranty defect.
Setup
No tools or hardware required. Remove the cover from its packaging bag, locate the front panel (the side with zippers on both edges), and drape the cover over the safe from the top down. On larger sizes, a second person makes positioning easier.
- Remove the cover from the packaging bag. The bag is made from the same material and can store the cover when not in use.
- Identify the front panel: it has zippers running down both sides.
- Drape the cover over the safe from the top, working it down around the body until it sits flat.
- To access the safe: unzip one or both sides of the front panel. Roll the panel up and tie it off with the integrated loops, or fold it over the top of the safe while the door is open.
Common Questions
How do I measure to find the right size?
Measure your safe's body height, width, and depth. Do not include the handle, dial, or keypad in the depth measurement. Those add roughly 3.5" beyond the safe body, and the cover flexes to accommodate them. Match your measured dimensions against the cover size chart above, choosing the cover whose dimensions meet or exceed your safe's body footprint.
Will the cover fit with my outlet kit and handle attached?
Yes. Cover dimensions are based on the safe body footprint only. The handle, dial, and outlet kit cord typically add up to 3.5" to the overall depth, and the cover material flexes to wrap around them. You do not need to remove the outlet kit or any hardware before installing the cover.
Will the cover trap moisture against the safe?
No. The fabric is breathable and allows air to circulate. Moisture does not build up under the cover in normal indoor conditions. If your safe is in a high-humidity environment, address the humidity directly with a dehumidifier inside the safe rather than relying on the cover for protection against it.
Can I use this cover on a non-Liberty safe?
Yes, provided the dimensions match. The cover fits any safe whose body footprint falls within the cover's listed dimensions. Measure your safe body and compare against the size chart. If the fit is close on depth, account for the handle adding depth on the front face.
Can I access my safe quickly with the cover on?
Yes. The dual zippers on the front panel let you open the safe without removing the cover. Unzip one or both sides and tie the front panel up using the integrated loops, or fold it over the top. You do not need to pull the cover off the safe to use it.
